Review:
I am just going to start off by saying how much I loved this book. I loved that Olivia, our protagonist was a bad ass witch. I loved that she wasn’t a damsel in distress. I loved that the first thing she did when she was shunned by her coven was get a fake ID and get a job in a bar. I loved that her love interest was called Jackson!
The story was filled with lots of twists and turns, some I totally guessed but most I totally didn’t. It’s a Young Adult book, but it is sexy and it does have swearing and The Venator, the evil witch clan Olivia and her coven are locked in ancient feud with are terrifying.
We follow Olivia as she spends her first time with humans on own without her beloved coven. It’s fast paced, with some flash backs and cliff hangers at the end of chapters. I couldn’t put it down. I wish it had been longer, but the good news is it’s going to be a series. There is so much room for sequels and I would even like to read more in to the other characters from the coven, especially Olivia’s lovely “coven brother’s” Everett and Max…
