Captivated by You Review & Giveaway
5 STARS Mark Delaney is a high profile movie star who wants nothing more than to visit his sister for the Christmas holiday before his big movie premiere. When he goes back to Colorado against his agent’s wishes, of course a snowstorm comes that lands his Maserati in a ditch. Stranded on a quiet road, he knocks on the door of the first house he sees—the same house that his former math tutor grew up in. Expecting to find an elderly couple donned in robes and hair curlers, he’s knocked off his feet when Lacey Robertson herself opens the door. … Continue reading

Laura Kaye and her Music Inspiration – GIVEAWAY
Music as Writing Inspiration Thanks so much to Heidi for hosting me here at The Readiacs again! I’m so thrilled to be celebrating the recent release of my contemporary romance, One Night with a Hero(Heroes #2). I’m often asked what inspires me to write my books and characters the way I do, and music is definitely one of my biggest inspirations. Both the feel of a song and the lyrics themselves have inspired characters, lines of dialogue, scenes, and the overall tone of my stories. Today, I want to share how music inspired my Hero books in particular. The first … Continue reading
5 Stars for One Night with a Hero
5 STARS – Count ‘em Here’s the thing I’ve learned this past year about Laura Kaye – do not start one of her books when it’s bedtime because the next thing you know, it’s 2 am and you’ve finished. And than you’re left all sorts of hot and bothered and dreaming of her characters and in this case it was uber sexy Brady. Lord have mercy Laura can write! To date, I haven’t been disappointed with anything Laura’s published. It’s such a comfort to know you’re going to get quality writing when one of her books lands in your hand. So … Continue reading
Operation Cinderella by Hope Tarr
Operation Cinderella by Hope Tarr – 3 Stars Operation Cinderella is a cute little love story. What started out as an undercover operation quickly turned into a soul-searching mission for the unsuspecting target, Ross. While, Macie was busy integrating herself into the lives of Ross and his teenage daughter, Sam, they were falling hopelessly in love with a lie. When the truth is finally told, the aftershock just isn’t there for it all to make sense. I teetered between three and four stars throughout the story. The romance and fireworks – definitely there. The consequence for the utmost deception falls … Continue reading
The Spanish Billionaire’s Hired Bride by @RachelLyndhurst
The Spanish Billionaire’s Hired Bride - Been caught stealing – that is what came to mind when I started reading The Spanish Billionaire’s Hired Bride because that is how Ricardo Almanza met Helen Marshall – he thought she was stealing, which lead me to believe she was a high society thief and this uber rich man was going to get sucked into her devious web. Nope. Helen is his stepmother’s girl Thursday – or cocktail maker who quickly catches the eye of the dapper Almanza. When he offers Helen a ride home to her ghetto apartment an idea takes form. … Continue reading
How Naturally, Charlie was Born
I’m lucky – that is what I keep telling myself because I’ve been able to promote Naturally, Charlie from the day it landed in my inbox. I love this story so when S.L. and I hashed out what topics she should write about I rambled off… Tell me how the Charlie’s were born and she loved the idea. All I want to say is: Thank you, Suzie for Naturally, Charlie. I am so happy to be part of this journey with you! How Naturally, Charlie was Born! Sometimes stories hit you like lightning and sometimes there is something that leads you to a story … Continue reading

A Very Important Guest Review
We are kicking off the book tour for A Very Important Guest by Mary Whitney. I usually bypass short stories when I see them on Amazon or Barnes & Noble. I’ve read a few, and sometimes, authors just can’t delivery. So not the case with Whitney and A Very Important Guest. I’m giving it 5 Stars While I want more from these characters, I was left with a solid feeling that the story is complete whether Whitney picks it up again or not. Set is picturesque and beautiful Hawaii, Abby is a maid at a high end resort. When she’s caught still cleaning … Continue reading

Cover Reveal: Souled by Diana Murdock
Power and Control… What 17-year-old boy wouldn’t be tempted by the promise of power and control – no matter what form that promise came in? Seth knew exactly what he would do with power and control. He’d be well on his way to a wrestling scholarship, his dad could stop working so hard to make ends meet, and he’d forever have the heart of his girlfriend, Sandpoint High’s most beautiful girl. For Seth, the temptation was much too strong to resist. And why should he? The way he saw it, he had everything to gain. But when he unknowingly invites … Continue reading
A Fractured Light by Jocelyn Davies
3 Stars I fell so in love with the characters in A Beautiful Dark that I couldn’t wait for A Fractured Light to arrive and now I patiently wait for the third installment. After the major cliffhanger in A Beautiful Dark Davies wastes no time starting us off. The only problem, I had a hard time with this plot. While I love the premise it took far to long for the storyline to develop. Skye was all over the place and Asher was so wishy washy that I thought he was turning into Devin. Devin and Raven were hardly used and there … Continue reading
Review: Because of Low
4 Stars for Because of Low Marcus Hardy lost out big time in the love department when Sadie chose Jax over him in Breathe. After his year at college he was hoping that things had changed in Sea Breeze, but he’s thrown right into some major family drama when his father cheats on his mother. Now he must keep his mom from hurting herself and his sister from losing her mind. Marcus opts to move in with his buddy Cage York – the manwhoring baseball player. Marcus figures he’s have some solitude since Cage is never home and definitely doesn’t bring … Continue reading
Review: Breathe by Abbi Glines
4 Stars for Breathe Yes, I’m a little late to the party, but only review wise. I read Breathe over the summer, but have totally failed in getting my review posted. But no more… Loved it! I’m a sap for a good contemp and Abbi Glines totally delivers. Every character is lovable and one huge draw for me is that various characters have their own stories. This, I love! Not many authors will continue a contemp, let alone characters and Abbi has and continues to do so. Breathe is every girls dream. Well almost. I mean well have all dreamt at one … Continue reading
4 Stars to Glass Heart
Wow! We learned so much about Wren in Cold Kiss I really didn’t know how Amy Garvey was going to follow-up with two more books. But follow-up she did! 4 Stars to Glass Heart As odd as their relationship is, I really like the coupling of Wren and Gabriel. While he has a 6th sense which isn’t so uncommon, with her witching abilities they seem to mesh so well. It’s almost as if Gabriel grounds her, keeps her sane while her powers become stronger. Making a huge showing in Glass Heart is Wren’s sister, Robin. Her powers are growing every day and … Continue reading
