I have another juicy book for you this week: Born At Midnight by C.C. Hunter. It’s the first book of the Shadow Falls Series, and let me tell you– it starts off with a bang!
Kylie Galen is a resident teen going through the worst year of her life: Her parents are divorcing, her grandmother just died, and she has a creepy solider dude stalking her. But when she gets sent to Shadow Falls summer camp, everything changes.
Let’s just say Shadow Falls is the summer camp you’ve always dreamed of, depending on your ‘”nature”. This camp has has it all: Vamps, Faeries, Witches, Werewolves (a very delicious one, I might add), shape shifters and ghosts – take your pick, because they’re all spending their summer together!
As soon as Kylie gets to Shadow Falls, she starts seeing herself a bit differently– especially with the help of her friends Della and Miranda. While at Shadow Falls, Kylie does a lot of soul searching and learns a huge lesson: That things aren’t always as they seem.
And of course, Kyle finds a little bit of love. Not one, but TWO hot guys have caught Kylie’s eye. And to add to the drama, Kylie’s ex-boyfriend Trey decides he wants Kylie back.
