Summery: The vampires are coming. And after some angelic inspiration, the witches are willing to fight.
But Ana, now in complete possession of her memories, recieves a vision of her home destroyed, the people she cares about all dead. Fighting the vampires will surely be the end of them all. Unless she can do something to save them.
Review: Sometimes I’m thrown when a Novella can pack a powerful punch! This sequel was great! I was left a little disappointed that it was so short, but not disappointed in the story itself.
Ana finds herself in a huge contraversy; does she stay and fight the vampires after seeing an image of the future or does she take a chance and make a run for it, hoping they will follow her and leave her town people at peace? With her decision to stay true to Darren, Ana still finds herself thinking constantly of Tristin and reaching out to his mind, when she knows she shouldn’t.
Take an afternoon break and read this whirlwind adventure. I found myself almost crying at one point, then gasping at another and finally saying out loud OH MY GAWD!! Alston and Ramey did a phenominal job on this sequel and I can’t wait to get my hands on the final one “Angel Eyes”.
