Seven minutes inside a hotel room with a complete stranger. A friendly greeting where we pretend to know each other well and are genuinely happy to see each other; then straight to business. None of it meaningful. None of it real. All of it rehearsed, choreographed, and expected. My life isn’t my own anymore. I pretty much go wherever I’m told and put on the show. It’s my life and whether I chose it nor not; it’s the life I’ve got. It’s the world I live in.

And, I’m searching. Always searching…I just don’t know what for.

I’m so honored to be the first to review COLLISION. I hope that you enjoy the story as much as I did. I want to thank you, Stefne, for giving me the opportunity to explore the world of Cabot & Kei. I can’t wait for what is to come next. To the DDoR team – our mornings are so pretty!

In a nutshell, here is what you are going to get from COLLISION . . .

It’s going to grab you, suck you in. It’s going to make you laugh and cry. You’ll want to be a part of the world that Cabot and Kei create. This riveting tale of life and love is an absolute must read.

Cab Stone is Hollywood’s hottest star. He can’t go to the grocery store without being photographed. He can’t walk down the street without fans chasing after him. Its been said that he’s dated every co-star, but is any of it true?

Cabot Stone is on vacation from himself and the world. Holed up in Asheville, North Carolina, in the home of a movie producer, he is determined to find himself again, away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.

Kei Sallee is visiting her uncle, Oliver, for the summer. Her idea of vacation time is reading, relaxing by the pool and taking pictures.  So when she meets Cabot Stone in the early hours of the morning in just her t-shirt, you expect sparks to fly!

I mean – this is Cab Stone – the hottest Hollywood actor out there, and Kei, well she has no clue who he is! To say Kei has been living under a rock is an understatement, but in fact, she’s been living in Uganda doing missionary work with her parents. Cabot is more than relieved that Kei has never heard of him because that means she can learn who he truly is.

Cab never has a problem getting the girl, and Cabot hasn’t had that problem either. But with Kei, Cabot has to work at even friendship. He is smitten from the word hello. Kei makes him smile and laugh with her witty humor and jumbled language. As Kei says, she’s American with Southern parents, had a British nanny and tutors, and Acholi housekeepers. Believe me, Kei will make you laugh.

When Kei figures out that Cabot is really Cab Stone, the fiery red-head doesn’t know what to think, but when he explains that you can’t believe everything that you read in magazine, Kei does a bit of self-discovery of her own – good ole twenty truths.  Even though she’s been determined to keep Cabot at bay, she’s only in Asheville for a limited time he slowly starts wearing on her.

Their time in Asheville ends all too soon and Cabot realizes that he’s not ready to let Kei go. He uses his money to buy her a laptop, upgrade the internet in her village and buy the kids of Uganda soccer balls. One would think he’s only doing this to impress Kei, but she’s changed him for the better and he doesn’t want to ever go back to being Cab Stone.

Their whirlwind romance takes them across the world. Cabot uses his star life to give Kei everything she’s asked for and more. Kei, in return, learns all about the Hollywood life style and what it is like to be on the arm of the hottest actor out there.
