What inspired you to write HERE?
My daughter asked me to write a YA book so she and her friends could read one of my books. (I’ve written several adult novels.) I didn’t want to write a pure paranormal so I leaned more toward a science fiction basis.
Was there any particular scene/chapter that was your favorite to write?
My favorite scene to write was the one with Julia and Reece after he takes her to his home. They both let their guards down and it was special to write it.
Which books are you reading right now?
I just finished Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi and I’m now reading A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin.
What’s next on the agenda?
I’m preparing for the release of the third book in my adult urban fantasy series in March. I’m wrapping up the first draft of the second book of my adult humorous southern mystery and I’m researching in preparation of writing the first draft of There, the second On the Otherside book.
