Summary:

Review:
Anna Ryan is moving from one beach town to another, against her wishes. Her father has received a job transfer and now Anna will have to start her junior year of high school with unfamiliar faces. The only saving grace is the beach.
Moonglass starts off like your everyday teenage drama with a daughter royally upset with her father but when Anna starts discovering that Crystal Cove, her now town, holds secrets that she never knew about her parents she is suddenly hit with the realization that her life isn’t all sea glass and sandy beaches.
Jessi Kirby wrote an outstanding coming of age novel for all teens. There wasn’t one thing I couldn’t relate too when I was Anna Ryan’s age, that includes leaving behind my friends at the end of my sophomore year and meeting that perfect boy.
Moonglass will make you beg your parents to move – who doesn’t want to live on the beach? Through Anna’s voice, you will feel like you are right there with her and will be ready to plan your summer vacation.
