One of my Top 5 weaknesses in Romantic heroes is a Southern gentleman. Let me tell you, Jack Cantrell has charm in spades.
After a sultry, one-night stand with Jack, Dr. Michaela Roarke isn’t expecting to see him ever again. Imagine her surprise when she finds herself in need of a security detail thanks to her father– the Governor– hires a team. Guess who the lucky detective is? You guessed it, Jack and his trusty (and equally lusty) sidekick Lucky (who I still contest needs a book of his own).
A steamy, seductive debut romance filled with suspense, believable characters and sharp, tight writing. The dialogue was enjoyable, the scenes flowed and she didn’t spare any… ahem… details. I like reading romances every now and then and I will definitely look forward to reading another of Robin’s novels.
