A young woman wakes in the forest with no idea who she is or how she got there. She thinks hard on this fact and only comes to realize her name is Scarlet. She takes off in the hunt for her life, to find out who she is and how she lost her memory. Along the way she found her best friend, Heather. Heather is the best friend any girl could want! I want her! Ok back to the review.
During the Kissing Festival in Avalon, GA Scarlet becomes drawn to a mysterious guy in a hooded jacket. Before she can make any contact with him she meets Gabriel. Soon Scarlet learns that the mysterious man is Triston, Gabriel’s “secret” identical twin. Scarlet then goes on a whirlwind adventure of her life and learning more about herself and the Archer brothers than she ever thought possible.
So let’s start with the Archer brothers. Hello, SUPER crush worthy! I kept picturing Ryan Reynolds (not sure why) as the Archer brothers. And Scarlet’s blue eyes, the mystery of her many lives and why she only remembers the last two years of her life (very deep). Then there’s Heather. Heather had me CRACKING UP during the story. I think she needs a story all her own. As for Scarlet’s guardian, I think there’s more to her but I hope to find that out in the next book. Oh and what’s up with the ash people? Also to find out in the next book ~sigh~ Seriously, go get this book… now! It’s a GREAT read with a whirlwind adventure and a CONSTANT page turner! I loved it!!!
