Genre: Romance/Fantasy/Mature
Release Date: May 13, 2012

Review:
*** Warning: This book contains explicit language and sexual content.***
Vampires exist and the Reign wants control. Our heroin, Nessa, has taken a human lover, Thomas. Thomas has no idea who Nessa really is, yet. Nessa sister, Trina, works at a dinner until the night a coworker is attacked by other vampires. The storyline kicks off from this point and moves really fast.

The Reign wants control of all The Rings, which will give them the ultimate power over humans and control the world. Nessa will not let this happen. Leaving Thomas to help save and run away with her sister, Nessa and Trina set off to keep themselves save from harm and harm from those they love. While on the road they run into the Reign who have captured Thomas, using him as leverage. About to hand over The Rings for Thomas life they are suddenly rescued by silver spitting shape-shifting spiders.

Being a fan of vampires I was looking forward to reading The Last of The Rings. Unfortunately I was left wanting more. The book started off and ended in a very strong sexual nature. When the story began to unfold there was not much detail to the imagination as everything was short. The storyline reminded me of vampires meets Lord of the Rings with a little Harry Potter mixed in. I also noticed Trina’s name appeared as Trisha a lot as well, which confused me at times. There were other aspects of the story that were completely unbelievable (Nessa uses garlic to protect her and her sister in their room as it does not harm them but it will harm other vampires. How?) I give this storyline two stars as the story itself drew me in. It ended too quickly to actually enjoy what the reader was offered.

Summary:
Nessa, a beautiful brunette vampire falls in love with Thomas, a human who has no idea of her true nature.

Nessa’s parents died over three hundred years back and left her in charge of her sister Trina with two rings that enabled them to walk in daylight.

Unaware of what is in store for them, the two siblings discover that the rings hold more to them than the ability to make them walk in daylight.

A new coven of ruthless vampires called the Reigns are after the two rings to help them complete their collection which will in turn give them the power to control all the vampires and rid the world of mortals.

In the fight to defend the rings, Nessa discovers the existence of shapeshifters – The Areneas. Areneas join forces with Anti-Reign vampires to keep them from achieving their goal.

Through all this, Thomas gets caught up in the fight and discovers Nessa’s dark secret.
