Stalk Me: Exclusive Cush Interview & Giveaway

Today we sat down with Brandon “Cush” Cushman to get his side of the story. I was very excited for this interview because I’m “Team Cush” all the way. Let’s see what he had to say.

It’s widely known that you’ve always been sort of a playboy. Have you ever thought of settling down with anyone other than Keatyn?

I crushed on her since I first saw her. Once I got to know her, I crushed even harder. She’s fun to be around. I settled for being her friend. I wish I wouldn’t have. I should have told her how I felt even though she was dating Sander. But he was my friend too, and they seemed so happy. She seemed happy. I was happy when she broke up with Sander and was not going to let someone like the surfer win this time.

What inspired you to finally make a move on Keatyn when she became single, even though you knew she was interested in someone else?

The guy was a dick. He hooked up with her then didn’t call. He invited her to hang out, but then ditched her. Sander might not have made her hot, but he always treated her well. I was always a little jealous of their relationship. And, I know. I didn’t treat girls the way I should’ve either, but I didn’t want anything other than a hookup. I let my chance slip by once before. I wan’t going to make the same mistake twice. Plus, even as friends, we just had fun together. We always teased each other. She’s like a walking contradiction. Hot. Sexy. She’d dance on the bar at my parties. Damn. On the soccer field, she was tough. But she could be so sweet. Has the most amazing eyes. And she smelled so good.

How has it been growing up with your parents always leaving you on your own?

It wasn’t always that way. My parents divorced when I was in 8th grade. Mom traveled a lot and it took it’s toll on their relationship. Dad left. Went through a serious midlife crisis. I didn’t want to change schools, so I stayed. It got lonely, but I managed to stay pretty busy.

How was the summer you spent away from your friends in Oregon?

It sucked at first. I was mad about everything. Mad at Keatyn. Mad at my parents. But once I stopped being mad, I realized I really liked being part of a family again. My dad’s gotten serious with a woman who is about his age and who I like. The town he lives in is small and really laid back. Everyone is nice, and I made quite a few friends. It’s very different than Malibu. People aren’t into clothes and cars and money.

When you left for your dad’s house for the summer, at what point did you finally realize the situation that put you there was not Keatyn’s fault?

What she said when I broke up with her was true. No girl would have done that to Sander. It was because of my reputation and the whole wanting to be popular that caused it. I know Mandy wanted to hurt Keatyn. Wanted her to not be part of another popular couple or whatever. After being here for about a month, I confided in a friend here. I realized what I jerk I’d been. How I had been letting popularity go to my head. How I had been using girls. Keatyn worried she was turning into a bitch. I had already turned into something I’m kind of ashamed of now.

There was some major drama that happened to you at your soccer party. How has that affected you since you arrived back in L.A.?

I arrived in L.A. the day of her party, stopped at home, and then went straight to her house. I wanted to apologize and for her to forgive me. I didn’t think she would kiss me. That really surprised me.

At Keatyn’s birthday party, she had a breakthrough in regards to her feelings towards you. What was going through your head at that time?

How good it felt to dance with her again. To kiss her again. To hold her in my arms. There was so much I wanted to tell her that I just didn’t get to say.

You haven’t seen Keatyn since the night of her party. How do you feel about that and what are your guesses as to where she is now?

At first I tried to find her. Stalked her house. Even snuck on her beach, only to be escorted off. Once school started, I had to stop trying. I don’t really understand why I can’t talk to her. I’m assuming something pretty bad happened. Her parents trust her and pretty much let her do what she wants, so for them to cut off all communication with all her friends means it must have been something bad. There are a lot of rumors flying around. I heard she’s in rehab. Heard she went to Europe. Heard she’s pregnant. I’m not sure what to believe.

I’m sure there are a lot of rumors going around school as to what happened to Keatyn. What is the most outrageous thing you’ve heard so far?

That she is pregnant with Tommy’s baby.

If you could script out the next time you see Keatyn, how would that script go?

Well, I could make up some sexy fantasy, but I just want to talk to her.
