Review: Colasanti always allows us to look at a story from different perspectives, which is part of her charm. She takes you through the story of heart ache, love, highschool dramatics, and finding the one that you are supposed to be with, so easily. It makes it seems as though you are there.

The only downside is that Colasanti’s stories frequently are predictable. The reader knows from the beginning that Rhiannon and James will end up together. It is a predictable storyline.

The positive, Colasanti really seems to get into the mind of all of her characters. She speaks like a teenager. She addresses love and heartache in the purest of forms. She also addresses real life issues. She allows readers to know that if they are going through anything there is an outlet. She addresses the issues of physical abuse, which allow you to understand and feel for the characters in the book.

Thoughts: It’s a cute book. I’m sending it to a friend who is going through a breakup. I’ve always through that she belongs with her best friend. Maybe this will plant it in her mind.
